No Age, consisting of drummer/vocalist Dean Spunt and veteran guitarist Randy Randall, lived up to the hype this Tuesday at Chicago’s Metro. They ran through most of Weirdo Rippers (Fat Cat, 2007) as well as a couple new tunes off their forthcoming Sub-Pop release. Liars were also on hand.
Pitchfork gave Weirdo Rippers an 8.0, calling the punk duo “soporific, restful, and totally in control.”
