I always love it when a rare bootleg surfaces and gets passed around the internets. It reminds me of the time I discovered that Duane Allman/Eric Clapton bootleg in 7th grade. Anyway, this 1967 recording, the only VU known to exist from that year, actually sounds pretty decent. It contains the debut of “Sister Ray” and a brand new song, “I’m Not A Young Man Anymore.” Today is kind of like Christmas for VU fans.
